Terms and Conditions

Please review the terms and conditions governing the use of BooksPublishingHub and our publishing services.

Welcome to BooksPublishingHub. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of bookspublishinghub.com and the ghostwriting, editing, proofreading, cover design, formatting, ISBN registration, publishing, distribution, and marketing services we provide. By using the Website or hiring us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree or have any queries and concerns, feel free to contact us via this Email: support@bookspublishinghub.com.

1. About Us

BooksPublishingHub is a book publishing services company based at 750 Florida St, Baton Rouge, LA 70801, USA. You can reach us at support@bookspublishinghub.com or (888) 918-1538.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use our Services. If you are signing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

3. Our Services and Project Agreements

Each project begins with a free consultation and a written quote or service agreement that sets out the scope, deliverables, price, payment schedule, and timeline. Where a project agreement conflicts with these Terms, the project agreement applies to that project. Any work outside the agreed scope, such as extra revision rounds, additional word count, or added services, will be quoted and approved by you in writing before we begin.

4. Payments

  • All prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise in your agreement.
  • Payment is made in the installments or milestones listed in your agreement. Work on each stage begins after the related payment is received.
  • Payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider. You are responsible for any bank, currency conversion, or transfer fees.
  • If a payment is overdue, we may pause work until it is settled. Delivery dates will move by the length of the delay.
  • Final files and publishing rights transfer after full payment is received (see Section 6).
  • Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

5. Timelines and Your Responsibilities

We give realistic timelines, and we work hard to meet them. Delivery dates depend on you providing what we need on time, including interview availability, source material, feedback, approvals, and payments. If feedback or materials are delayed for more than 30 days, the project timeline may be rescheduled, and a restart fee may apply if work has to be paused or reassigned.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and originality of any material you give us, and for obtaining permission for any third-party content you ask us to include, such as quotes, images, or lyrics.

6. Ownership and Rights

You keep your rights. Upon full payment, you own 100% of the rights to the finished work we create for you, including copyright in the manuscript, cover design, and interior layout, except as noted below.

  • Ghostwriting: For ghostwritten books, you are the sole credited author and we will not claim authorship or disclose the work, unless you ask us to give credit.
  • No royalty claims: We do not take royalties or a share of your book sales unless a separate written agreement says so.
  • Third-party elements: Stock images, fonts, and licensed assets used in covers or interiors remain subject to their own license terms, which we will share on request.
  • Our tools and processes: We keep ownership of our own templates, workflows, and pre-existing materials.
  • Portfolio use: We may reference published books by title in our portfolio, but we will not use your name, manuscript content, or cover without your written permission.

7. Confidentiality

We treat your manuscript, ideas, and project details as confidential. We share them only with team members, freelancers, and partners who need them to deliver the Services and who are bound by confidentiality obligations. Both sides agree not to disclose the other's confidential business information, except where required by law. This obligation continues after the project ends.

8. Revisions and Approvals

The number of revision rounds for each service is set out in your agreement. A revision means adjustments to approved direction, not a complete change of concept, story, or structure. Changes to the agreed concept after approval may be treated as new work and quoted separately. Once you approve a stage in writing, we move on to the next one.

9. Publishing and Distribution

When we publish or distribute your book, we act on your behalf, and the book is listed through retail and distribution platforms such as Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, Barnes & Noble Press, Apple Books, and Kobo. Each platform has its own terms, review process, and royalty structure, which we do not control.

We cannot guarantee that a retailer will accept your book, how long approval takes, or how many copies you will sell. Any sales, ranking, review, or revenue figures we mention are examples and not promises. Your royalties are paid by the platforms according to their terms, not by us.

We are not affiliated with Amazon, KDP, Barnes & Nobles. We provide publishing assistance services

10. Marketing Services

Marketing services such as ads, press outreach, author websites, and promotions are designed to raise your book's visibility. We cannot guarantee specific results, including sales volume, bestseller status, media coverage, reviews, or awards.

11. Content Standards

We may decline or stop any project that contains unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or infringing material, or content that promotes violence or harm. We are not responsible for legal claims arising from content you provide or approve, and you agree to cover reasonable costs we incur because of such claims.

12. Use of the Website

You agree not to misuse the Website, including attempting to gain unauthorized access, introducing harmful code, copying our content for commercial use without permission, or submitting false information. All text, graphics, logos, and design on the Website belong to BooksPublishingHub or its licensors and may not be reused without our written consent.

13. Disclaimers

The Website and Services are provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We work to the highest professional standard, but we cannot promise that the Website will always be error-free or uninterrupted, or that any book will be commercially successful.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BooksPublishingHub will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost sales, or loss of reputation. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.

15. Termination

Either party may end a project by written notice. If you cancel, the Refund Policy applies and you remain responsible for work completed and costs already incurred. We may suspend or end Services if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or submit content that violates Section 11. Sections on ownership, confidentiality, liability, and governing law continue after termination.

16. Privacy

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve any concern informally. If we cannot, the parties agree to try good-faith mediation before filing a claim, and any remaining dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Louisiana, except where local consumer laws give you the right to bring a claim in your home country.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date. Projects already under written agreement remain governed by the Terms that applied when you signed.
